Brief
Rinkeby Bokfestival is one of Sweden’s largest literary events, a vibrant meeting place for everyone who loves books and a stage for some of the most compelling voices in contemporary literature.
After nearly four years, the festival was ready to take the next step. With international ambitions and a growing presence in Stockholm’s cultural scene, the organisation needed an identity that reflected its evolution.
The challenge was clear: create a more mature and established visual identity without losing the festival’s distinctive energy and independent spirit.
Rinkeby Bokfestival turned to us to help signal this shift, from emerging initiative to established institution, while preserving the attitude that makes it unique.
Solution
We led a strategic revitalization of the brand, building on its strongest existing assets, the book and the tree, and reinterpreting them through a more confident and contemporary lens.
The new identity balances credibility with character. A refined logo, an updated color palette, and modernized typography create a stronger and more cohesive expression across all touchpoints. We also redesigned the website and developed a flexible visual toolkit to support ongoing communication across social media and digital platforms.
The result is a revitalized brand that reflects Rinkeby Bokfestival’s ambition and scale, while staying true to its roots.
